Frequently Asked Questions

What are your opening times at The Colony Room Green?

We’re open from 3pm until 11pm everyday except Sundays. Whether it’s a mid-afternoon drink or a late-night cocktail, there’s always something happening behind our green door.

Where are you located?

You’ll find us at The Colony Room Green, below Ziggy Green tucked away on Heddon Street, just off Regent Street, London W1 — a hidden corner in the heart of the West End.

Do I need to book in advance, or can I just walk in for a drink?

Both work! Walk-ins are always welcome for drinks at the bar.

What’s the connection to the original Colony Room in Soho?

The Colony Room Green is a re-imagining of Soho’s legendary Colony Room Club — the post-war haunt of Francis Bacon, Lucian Freud, and later the YBAs. We’ve brought that spirit of creativity and rebellion into a new chapter on Heddon Street.

Who curated the space?

The artist Darren Coffield, a former Colony Room member, curated the interiors — part homage, part reinvention. Think of it as history re-hung for a new audience.

Is it really like an art installation?

Yes. Every corner has been considered, from the walls to the bar. It feels like stepping into a living artwork — only here, you can enjoy a cocktail while you take it all in.

Do you take large group or private hire bookings?

Yes — from intimate gatherings to full venue hire. Colony Room Green makes a striking backdrop for celebrations, launches, and creative events. Enquiries can be sent to Reservations@daisygreenfood.com

What kind of cocktails and wines are on offer?

Our bar menu features expertly mixed cocktails, wines, and spirits — all priced at 2008 prices. In London, that’s almost unheard of. It’s our way of honouring the spirit of the original Colony Room: great drinks, without the pretension (or the eye-watering bill).
